WSP Air Quality, Noise, Vibration and Acoustic Services

We offer a comprehensive range of air quality, noise, vibration and acoustic services including: z Total client support: WSP has the capabilities to perform all aspects of a development project, such as due diligence, environmental permitting, initial and final design, specifications development, construction compliance monitoring, commissioning, trouble shooting, and legal support, if needed. z Air quality modeling and monitoring: WSP uses advanced tools and techniques to model and measure the emissions, dispersion, and impacts of air pollutants from various sources. We also evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation measures and provide recommendations for improving air quality and reducing health risks. z Noise and vibration assessment and mitigation: Noise and vibration surveys and assessments to identify and quantify the sources, levels, and impacts of noise and vibration from various sources and site activities. We also design and implement noise and vibration mitigation strategies and solutions, such as equipment substitutions, barriers, insulation, damping, and isolation. z Acoustic design and testing: WSP provides acoustic design and testing services

for various types of buildings and facilities, such as residential, commercial, educational, cultural, and healthcare. We apply sound engineering principles and best practices to optimize the acoustic performance and comfort of indoor and outdoor spaces, considering factors such as sound insulation, reverberation, speech intelligibility, and noise control. z Environmental impact assessment: WSP conducts environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for various projects involving air quality, noise, vibration, and acoustic issues, in accordance with the applicable regulations and standards. We evaluate the potential environmental and social impacts of the project, as well as the cumulative and synergistic effects of other projects and activities in the area. WSP also identifies and proposes mitigation and enhancement measures to avoid, minimize, or compensate for the impacts, and monitors and reports on the implementation and effectiveness of these measures.

z Regulatory compliance: WSP assists clients in obtaining the necessary permits, approvals, and authorizations from the competent authorities, and ensures that the projects comply with applicable requirements and conditions. WSP also conducts audits and reviews to verify and demonstrate the compliance status and performance of the projects. z Stakeholder engagement: WSP engages with the stakeholders, such as clients, regulatory authorities, communities and interest groups, to inform, consult,

collaborate and empower them throughout the project lifecycle. We manage and resolve issues, concerns or complaints that may arise from stakeholders, and ensure that their feedback and input are considered and addressed.
