WSP performed a comprehensive environmental acoustical study for Wake Stone Corporation to evaluate noise potentially generated by the expansion of the Wake Stone Triangle Quarry in North Carolina. We performed impressive technical work for the client and then had to defend it in court, which we did successfully in 2023. Thanks to WSP, Wake Stone was able to proceed with a new mining quarry valued at $500 million over the next 30 years.
