WSP’s IAQ services include: z Indoor air quality investigations: Our indoor air quality services include baseline and periodic air quality assessments; site history/characterization; pollutant source identification/characterization; climatic conditions documentation, including meteorology and air pollution dispersion potential; and air sampling, testing, analysis and monitoring. z Facility surveys: These surveys provide pertinent information regarding the presence of hazardous materials in buildings and associated management alternatives. z Workplace exposure assessments: We conduct thorough assessments of a client’s facility for exposure concerns. All aspects of compliance are evaluated, including recordkeeping, documentation, equipment and maintenance issues, chemical and hazardous waste storage, housekeeping, posting of safety signage, employee work habits, employee training, and other areas that affect health and safety, and could result in citations or violations. We strive to help our clients understand the conditions at their work sites from the perspective of human health, risk and compliance. We then make commercially viable recommendations to our clients based upon data collected during worksite investigations. z Contamination assessment: When warranted by conditions, WSP can provide consultation and assessment of contamination. z Preparation of plans and specifications for abatement: Our staff prepares procedures delineating how the corrective activities will be accomplished to meet the requirements of jurisdictional federal, state, and local agencies. z Abatement project monitoring: Experienced staff provides project monitoring services, such as abatement work observations, to document compliance with contract documents. z Development of operations and maintenance (O&M) programs: When hazardous materials are left in place, specialized O&M procedures are developed to address routine ongoing facility management. z Training and O&M support services: Implementation of an O&M program involves awareness training of building occupants and worker training of individuals performing O&M work.
