Romaine River Hydropower Project WSP assessed the impact of proposed de velopments and support the EIA process. Hy dro-Québec chose WSP to test the Romaine

River for a 1,550 MW hydroelectric complex. Our work included surveying fish habitats, conducting hydrodynamical modeling, determining conservation flows, and evalu ating salmon spawning runs using advanced hydroacoustic methods.

WSP offers comprehensive early-phase program and engineering management, design, and environmental sustainability services, from initial funding to business case development. They address federal (NEPA) and state (CEQA) requirements on a statewide level. Additionally, they develop individual environmental documents for each project section.
