Cultural Resources, Baseline, and Impact As one of the largest providers of heritage and cultural resource ser vices in the Unites States, WSP assists clients in fulfilling regulatory compliance obligations regarding heritage and cultural resources and historic preservation under federal, state and/or local legal authori ties including, but not limited to, Section 106 of the National Histor ic Preservation Act (NHPA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and Section 4(f) of the Department of Transportation Act, among others. Our nationally recognized and award-winning team of experts and heritage resource industry leaders provides comprehensive experience and familiarity with the heritage resource compli ance needs in all market sectors. WSP regularly advises on archaeological sites, landscapes, structures and monuments globally, coordinating heritage requirements with project design where required. We also perform effective public outreach, education, and stakeholder and Tribal engage ment to support our clients. Now in our fifth decade of client service, WSP’s pro fessional staff includes archaeologists and historians/

architectural historians who meet or exceed the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards for Archaeology and Historic Preserva tion. Collaborating with our planning practices, WSP is well suited to provide comprehensive en vironmental compliance services to public and commercial clients.
