ENVIRONMENTAL & SOCIAL ASSESSMENT
Our Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and Planning teams specialize in the process of gaining approvals, permitting, licensing, and planning support. We work with organizations focused on investing, developing, or expanding existing assets, seeking on-going maintenance for their operations and infrastructure, or the closure of their facilities. We get involved at the strategic advisory, investment, procurement, due diligence, planning implementation, construction, and monitoring phases of any project. In each case, we work to deliver positive outcomes for all stakeholders. One of the early tasks needed as part of the ESIA/ NEPA compliance is the development of adequate baseline data. Baseline data is developed around the principles of environmental effects assessment, with consideration of evolving regulatory expectations and industry best practices. Scopes are defined by regulatory requirements and focused on project conditions and local concerns. We work closely with the regulatory agencies to determine the level of adequate data needed for the environmental effects analysis. Our NEPA experience includes preparing environmental impact statements (EISs), environmental assessments (EAs) and categorial exclusions (CEs) for a variety of industries and agencies including the Bureau of Land Management, United States Forest Service, Department of Energy, Bureau of Reclamation, National Park Service, Department of Defense, United States Army Environmental Command and many more. We have successfully worked on client prepared NEPA documents.
