ENVIRONMENT & ESG Supporting natural biological and human environment disciplines including aquatic, terrestrial, species at risk, atmospheric, surface and groundwater,

hydrogeology, geochemistry, wetlands, socioeconomics, archaeology, human and ecological health, our team can comprehensively complete all phases of environmental analysis from FEED studies and baseline investigations to permitting, monitoring, remediation, and reclamation. Our comprehensive and highly skilled mining engineering team provides optimal solutions for projects of all sizes. No job is too complex for WSP’s experts. Our engineers are known worldwide for our extensive experience in slope stability evaluations for open pit mines including development of structural, geotechnical, and hydrogeological models of rock slopes and assessment of both rock mass and structural slope stability. We have extensive skills and expertise in the design, stability, and management of waste dumps and waste rock storage facilities, including implementation of strategies to prevent and mitigate acid rock drainage and metal leaching.
