SEM Support WSP currently supports clients in conducting regular SEMs at landfills throughout the country. For each sampling event, qualified WSP technicians traverse the covered landfill surface on foot along a site specific pattern. An INFICON IRwin detector meeting Method 21 compliance requirements is used to measure methane concentrations at surface level along the walking path and at landfill penetrations.
