WETLANDS For years, the science of identifying, delineating and restoring wetlands has progressed in tandem with the increasing emphasis on environmental regulations. At the federal level, USACE has driven the conservation of wetlands with specific delineation and size requirements that vary both geographically and by wetland type. WSP guides our clients through these requirements with experienced wetland staff that can respond to a full range of tasks. We provide consulting support for water resources planning and compliance with the CWA. We are experienced with the development and implementation of mitigation for wetland delineations. Our staff develops and implements habitat restoration plans; conducts water quality testing and monitoring; provides surface and groundwater consulting services; and obtains CWA Section 404 permits and CWA Section 401. Additionally, we are familiar with the accepted methodologies for modeling and evaluating project impacts to provide support on an as-needed basis. Our parallel risk assessment services add value to the decision making process in determining the appropriate level of remedial effort necessary to mitigate risks to ecologica eptors and communities while satisfying regulatory requirements.
