Endangered Species Act Compliance The Endangered Species Act (ESA) and proposed ESA listings are requiring local governments, businesses, and developers to assess how they manage their current activities. The solution is to work together and build positive and proactive responses to ESA. This requires an extensive knowledge of biology, habitat ecology, geophysics, hydrology and watershed processes, forestry and engineering. WSP provides all encompassing and effective service because we have an expansive working knowledge of the landscape, environment, and the regulatory dimensions of ESA itself. WSP focuses on total ESA and resource management responses, offering the following services: z Permitting z Biological assessments z Funding and grant preparation and review z Negotiation and representation with regulatory entities

z Representation in regional forums and planning processes z Consultation services z Strategic planning z Compliance auditing z Habitat conservation plans z Recovery planning z 4(d) rule implementation Our knowledge and experience helps us address ESA issues with a broad perspective, from policy to engineering. Our multidisciplinary staff has been involved in natural resource science, engineering, and fish and wildlife management for over 20 years and has gained well-developed insight into the intricate character of these issues. We represent a wide variety of clients successfully by vigilantly tracking the dynamic state of environmental and regulatory pressures, and by offering logical, scientifically defensible approaches to ESA.

Easily the most reliable consulting team I have worked with in 30+ years. If we anticipate “issues” with a particular project, Wood (now WSP) is our go-to contractor. “ Kenny Lynn Ameren Services Center, Career Environmental Scientist
