Pre-Acquisition Environmental Due Diligence GFL Environmental | East, South and Midwest GFL retained WSP to complete pre-acquisition Environmental Due Diligence, including environmental site assessments, limited environmental compliance audits, and Environmental Permit Reviews. WSP’s Mergers and Acquisitions technical community worked together on various sites located in throughout the East, South and Midwest conducting both desktop and select site visits. Work product included preparation of a technical memos summarizing the findings and recommendations of our site desktop and physical visits, and permit review. After the acquisition, WSP also assisted GFL in notifying and updating both state and local permits with the appropriate agencies with the ownership change.

Digital Solution for Health and Compliance GFL Environment | Corporate Beginning in 2021, WSP has provided digital

solution evaluations, selections, implementation and enhancement support to GFL. To meet your needs, a unified solution was created to manage GFL’s EHS and compliance, modernize your EHS system and phase out non-scalable software solutions, legacy spreadsheets and other manual methods. Working with each business unit lead, we digitized your processes and identified, designed and built the appropriate applications that would best fit GFL’s needs. Mobile applications were also created for health and safety incidents, audits, and inspections to allow for a mobile phone or tablet to provide real time information in the field. As a result, GFL has benefited from an up-to-date software platform with new features and capabilities.
