Facilities SWPCPs and SPCC Plans

Georgia-Pacific Forest Products | Oregon WSP prepared stormwater pollution control plans (SWPCPs) and SPCC plans for three facilities located in Oregon. The SWPCPs conformed to the newly revised provisions of the 1200-Z Industrial General Stormwater Permit adopted by Oregon Department of Environmental Quality including newly lowered benchmark standards for metals, total suspended solids and chemical oxygen demand. WSP worked closely with the site managers at all three sites to ensure that BMP’s were being implemented, inspections conducted, and sampling performed as required by the permit. We also worked with laboratories performing the stormwater analyses to ensure the proper EPA methods were being used and the sampling was being performed as specified in the permit.
