American Canyon Landfill Napa Vallejo Waste Management Authority | American Canyon, California WSP has been the primary engineering consultant in charge of operation and maintenance of the LFG collection and control system at the American Canyon Landfill. We conduct monthly monitoring and balancing of permitted LFG wells. Data is provided to the client as well as analysis of the gas field data to determine any issues with system pressure, gas collection efficiency, liquid level issues or potential areas of improvement. In addition to monthly monitoring, our team provides semi annual permit reporting and annual surface emissions monitoring using an FID on traverse to scan for surface methane emissions.

Landfill and Recycling Center Confidential Client | Pacific Northwest WSP provided hydrogeological and engineering services to support final permitting and construction of this landfill. The team completed additional site characterization including borehole drilling and testing, monitoring well installation, and groundwater quality sampling in order to update the conceptual hydrogeologic model of the site and provide information for background groundwater quality characterization. WSP also prepared the environmental monitoring plan and sampling and analysis plans for site-wide groundwater quality monitoring, leachate monitoring, and LFG monitoring, and specified procedures for data review and evaluation and action requirements.
